Setup MetaMask wallet & Configure it to connect to Ten Testnet — Explore the different testnet DApp.

Install Metamask Browser Extension

Visit the your browser extension marketplace here or the official Metamask website and download the Metamask extension for your browser.

Download the MetaMask extension by clicking on the "Add to Brave" (or your browser's name) button from the web store.

Proceed to create your Metamask wallet, Your new wallet will have a secret backup phrase. This is for recovering your wallet and must be kept secret. You should write down these words on a piece of paper and store them in a secure location in case of an issue requiring recovery of your wallet.

Connect Metamask To Ten Testnet Blockchain

Now that your wallet is setup, we need to configure it to connect to Ten Testnet Blockchain, this is easy to do and easy to change between networks using the button near the top of the app

There are two ways to do this, you can either do this manually or automatically. The Ten blockchain made this easy all you need to do is click here.

Click on the "Connect to Ten Testnet" button, and follow the setup steps.

Congratulations.

You have successfully added the Ten Testnet as a custom network to your MetaMask wallet.

You should now be able to connect to the Ten Testnet by selecting it from the network selection dropdown menu.

Claim Testnet Tokens from Ten Discord Faucet

To acquire Ten ETH directly on the Ten testnet, utilize the Discord faucet. Please be aware that ENS names cannot be used; provide your actual address. Follow these steps:

1. Join the Ten Discord server.

2. Go to the #faucet-requests channel under the TESTNET INFO category.

3. Enter /faucet and select the command

4. Input your wallet address and hit enter

5. Your wallet should receive ETH shortly

If your wallet balance remains unchanged, double-check your wallet configuration or refer to the set up your wallet page.
